With over 30 years of coaching experience at the Junior / AAA Levels in British Columbia, Tim has established an impressive legacy in hockey development. His attention to detail and his level of preparation in all aspects of Development are his strengths. A five time BC Provincial Champion at multiple levels Tim has also received the prestigious PCAHA Jon Putcha Award for coach mentorship. 

He Has a 2023 Canada Winter Games  Gold Medal with Female U18 TEAM BC and is a two-time Male U18AAA Provincial Champion and 1 Time U18AAA Pacific Regional Champion. Tim's coaching prowess has shaped numerous athletes, including NHL, WHL, and NCAA players over his 30 year experience in the position of Skills and Head Coach. 

His Resume Reflects success at Multiple levels and capacities over his 30 years in Hockey with a distinct longevity shown in each of his endeavours within each of the programs he has participated with. He has Coached and succeeded at every age grouping, Is able to teach every age group with high efficiency with patience and understanding of the athletes/People he's involved with. 

Even beyond that has shown to be a builder of programs on executive levels. Tim has served as Director of Hockey operations in both Squamish and Whistler for long terms. Established 3 Hockey Skills academies in the Sea to Sky Region (Whistler Secondary, Don Ross Middle School and Howe Sound Secondary) co-founded the Sea to Sky bears program. Also Lead a Pilot Project 2009 in conjunction with BC Hockey for what today still stands as the British Columbia High School Hockey League. 

Additionally,  Tim has 17 Years of Experience in the U16 British Columbia Pursuit of Excellence Program as Head Coach, Assistant Coach and Video Coach. Team BC Staff member of not only the Male U16 Program but also has experience working on the Female Side winning Gold Medal in the 2023 Canada Winter games in PEI as Video Coach.

Currently Tim holds a HP2 Certification with Hockey Canada and has also attended U17 Hockey Canada Summer Camps in Edmonton and Calgary for U18 Team Canada Selection process. He is currently Going into his 3rd year as Head Coach of the U18AAA Vancouver North West Hawks program previously 5 years with the Vancouver North East Chiefs program as U15AAA Head Coach and Skill Development lead. Has Coached U15AAA for 15 years, U18AAA for 8 years, U13AAA for 5 years and U11A1 for 8 years...Many of these teams being coached in same years of each other in duplicity. 

Tim's Dedication to the sport has been impressive to say the least and his enthusiasm for the sport is contagious. Starting in Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey and Finishing his Junior Career with both Pilots and Flames - Tim Volunteered Coached for the first 12 years of his career. Holding down a Full time job outside of hockey and still pursuing his passions in hockey, Tim was able to become a full time coaching skills professional about the time his children were born. Aiden (2008), Sydney (2009) Tim would raise a family in hockey while still coaching multiple teams and building SMHA as their first ever D.H.O. 

Ultimately Tim's approach to player development and mentorship is what many would echo as his greatest strength. His approach  working with players is to create superb habits by establishing correct default settings and learning how to play with high Hockey IQ. 

He recognizes that every player is unique and has specific details of their games to work on - but also reinforces what they are good at already and helps them find their playing identity to play with absolute confidence in the game and beyond outside of hockey.
